ALBANY ON THE RECORD - MAY 5TH IN ALBANY (5/10/2010)
Albany on the Record was a rousing success with 300 attendees hearing from Governor Paterson, Comptroller DiNapoli and the four legislative leaders who outlined their plans to fix Albany now. Spring Fling Weekend in NYC - May 14, 2010 (5/19/2010)
Over 70 League members and friends attended the Spring Fling fundraiser on May 14. It was a wonderful evening with a gathering of many old-time League members reminiscing and talking. Special Guest Bernie W. Nussbaum, Partner, Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz and Counsel to the President of the United States (1993-94), briefly discussed his representation of the state judges in their lawsuit concerning salaries. LWVNY Forum on Redistricting and LWVUS 90th Birthday Party (Revised 4/16/10)
Over 60 people from 9 local Leagues and other organizations attended the Forum on Redistricting held at the Rockefeller Institute on February 9th.
