Spring Fling Weekend in NYC - May 14, 2010 (5/19/2010)
Over 70 League members and friends attended the Spring Fling fundraiser on May 14. It was a wonderful evening with a gathering of many old-time League members reminiscing and talking. Special Guest Bernie W. Nussbaum, Partner, Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz and Counsel to the President of the United States (1993-94), briefly discussed his representation of the state judges in their lawsuit concerning salaries. LWVNY Forum on Redistricting and LWVUS 90th Birthday Party (Revised 4/16/10)
Over 60 people from 9 local Leagues and other organizations attended the Forum on Redistricting held at the Rockefeller Institute on February 9th. Videos from the Forum are now available on the Rockefeller Institute website at www.rockinst.org/forumsandevents/. DVD copies of forum are now available upon request to the state League office - call or email to have a copy sent out to you.
