[LocalLeaguePresidents] Deadlines and Convention

Hi all-

Many of us are off to national convention later this week - I ask you to
send me names of your delegates, if you haven't done so already, and to
encourage those attending to look at the pages on our state League website
for information about caucuses, etc. I will also be looking for some help in
staffing our merchandise table, if any delegates are willing to volunteer -
thanks!

 

A few reminders of deadlines:

 

June 1                   Consensus Report on the Statewide Study on Local
Consolidation and Shared Services was due - we'll still take any reports -
just mail or fax them to the state office.

 

June 18                 Council Kit report is due - includes adoption of the
2010-2011 budget and program - we need 50% of the local Leagues to respond
for approval.

 

June 20                 Voter Guides Order Forms - preferably both Part I
and Part II, but definitely at least Part I - we don't print up many extras
anymore so get your orders in!

 

July 1                     Yellow Sheet from May State Board Report
indicating new officers and board for each local League - we need this to
ensure communication with the right people!
