[LocalLeaguePresidents] Consolidation- how do we help local municipalities

The obvious which I am sure you have already thought of to insure all  
citizens have a right to be heard is to invite all residents of the town and the 
 2 villages via advertising in all local papers in addition to any govt 
channels  where town and village boards are videotaped and their respective 
websites. Also  any local utilities and special districts, fire and ambulance 
depts. and police  depts may be good to have representatives from to see what 
impact they might  have on the community and their taxes. Town reps may 
include tax assessors,  highway and public works officials as well as mayors 
and supervisors. I am  sure there are other elected and appointed officials 
that may be important to  have input from too.
