This mailing list replaces the old list serve program we utilized with Yahoo
Groups to communicate with all of you.

 

What is a mailing list and how does it work??

The mailing list is a system designed to simplify the process of sending the
same message to a group of people via e-mail. The e-mail is sent to the
mailing list address, and the mail server distributes the message to
everyone who is subscribed to the mailing list.  WHAT DOES THAT MEAN???  If
you would like to send a message to all of the local League Presidents in
NYS, all you have to do is to type the address:
localleaguepresidents at lwvny.org into the "TO" line of your e-mail, similar
to the way you  send a message to a single person.

 

Who is on the LL Presidents Mailing List?

The entire Board, including all the Issues Specialist (an updated list is
attached for your convenience), the Regional Directors, all local League
Presidents, Co-Presidents, Vice-Presidents, Management Teams & Chairs for
Steering Committee.  A complete list of all the LL Presidents can be found
on our website at:  http://www.lwvny.org/localLeague/LLcontact.html.

 

What will I receive as part of the local League Presidents mailing list?

You will receive messages from the LWVNYS Board, other League presidents in
the state, updates, the E-SBR (electronic version of the State Board
Report), etc.

 

How do I subscribe or unsubscribe?

Send an e-mail to lwvny at lwvny.org

 

Are there other mailing lists?

There are!!  A complete list of all of our mailing lists can be found on our
