Regional Training Workshops Materials (4/14/2016)

Workshops were held in 4 locations across the state during March and April. Over 150 people attended the sessions, representing 39 local Leagues and the 3ILO’s. Attendees commented that the sessions were incredibly informative and they greatly enjoyed sharing stories, successes and problems, with League members from their area. This year’s addition of outside speakers on the constitutional convention process, women’s suffrage events and the organ donation project added greatly to the substantive discussions of the days. The handouts are available for all – or click on the links below to see the list of handouts for each topic. And, call the state office if you have questions or would like more information. Thanks to the office staff (Katrina, Kate and Jennifer), and Dare Thompson, Carol Mellor, and Judie Gorenstein for presenting the information at the workshops!

Grant Management
The League of Women Voters of NYS Education Foundation Inc. (LWVNYSEF) is a separate 501(c) 3 organization that permits tax-deductible donations for educational programs. Local Leagues can be “agents” under LWVNYSEF and thereby accept tax-deductible donations to be used for their own educational programs. Guidelines MUST be followed to maintain the charitable organization status.
